Asad Dandia's Harlem Tour Covered in NY Daily News

With over 320 members, there's almost no aspect of NYC history that one of our members does not have covered in their tours. Asad Dandia's "Malcolm X’s Harlem: Witnessing the Autobiography" tour was covered today by the New York Daily News. Here is the article:

CARIBBEAT: Life of Malcolm X is explored in Harlem walking tour

The article notes "The tour concept developed easily for Dandia, realizing that in the 1965 as-told-to autobiography (written with author Alex Haley) Malcolm was 'very specific and vivid in the way he describes the streets of Harlem, and the streets of New York' — speaking of Harlem YMCA on the W. 135th St.  where he stayed as young adult, the then-popular Small’s Paradise nightclub where he worked, and the site of the Nation of Islam’s old Mosque No. 7 where he later became the head minister."

Congrats to Asad on the success of this tour. If you're a GANYC member receiving press for your work, let us share your success!
