I am the Founder and Creator of the popular food and history blog Food Strolls Guided Tours. My passion is NYC food and history, and our guided tours are one of a kind NYC experiences! All of my tours focus on NYC history, with an emphasis on ethnic foods, immigration, and demographics. Our tours are flexible, and perfect for corporate events, student groups, birthday parties, and families.
In a past life, I had an eventful career in Finance. Presently I'm a full time Dad, full time blogger, and full time Licensed NYC Tour Guide (I never sleep).
Current prepared tours include: NYC Wine and History, Famous NYC Pubs and Taverns, Coney Island and Brighton Beach, Little Italy and Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, Harlem and Little Senegal, Colonial NYC, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Park, A Pizza Crawl, and Jackson Heights Street Food Crawl.
My wife is Brazilian, and we can give tours together in English and Portuguese. We also have in our immediate family a certified Level 3 Sommelier (my brother), and a group of NYC homeowner friends, who on special occasions allow us to host curated wine tastings and interior architecture tours in historic neighborhoods!
Although licensed to give all manner of tours, I prefer to do everything on foot. I accommodate strollers, scooters, and disabilities, and do my best to work with the needs of each group.
