I am a long-term Upper West Side resident and a New York City history lover. I became a licensed New York City tour guide, after my work focus shifted from Human Resources (Client Services and Data) in the public and private sectors to Central Park.
Thanks to my work both as an employee of the Central Park Conservancy and as a volunteer, I am a Central Park specialist. I am uniquely qualified to share with my clients the park’s history and natural features as well as and the city’s stories and secrets. I’m also grateful to share Grand Central Terminal with visitors as well as a fun walking tour of my local Upper West Side neighborhood.
My interests are quite eclectic: the natural world, performing and visual arts (photography, film, theater, architecture, etc.), current events. All of these add dimension and an entertaining breadth and scope to my tours.
